General Information

The placing of an order constitutes an agreement by you the customer to purchase in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Fentongollan Farm shall not be liable for any loss of profits, inconvenience, consequential or indirect loss or damage or have any liability to pay compensation other than any refund outlined elsewhere in these conditions.

Our terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any part is deemed invalid or unenforceable the validity and enforceability of all other parts shall not be affected. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

Fentongollan Farm cannot be held responsible for extraneous variables such as weather or soil conditions faced by our products once they have left our care.

Our Products

If any variety becomes unavailable or is out of season we will substitute where appropriate with a similar variety to avoid disappointment. Customers must contact us regarding any goods received which are unsatisfactory within 7 days and must arrange for the return of goods for a replacement or refund.

We endeavour to make our descriptions and pictures as accurate as possible, however please note that these are only as a likeness for illustration purposes and due certain limitations such as lighting some colours may vary.

Fentongollan Farm cannot guarantee the accuracy of information, specifications and pricing in any of its published material or any representations or misrepresentations made by company personnel or its agents.

All bulbs and plants featured conform to EU regulations.

We recommend plants are planted as soon as possible for good results, please follow plant care instructions or visit our website for information. We will ship your plants to you at the best time for planting.

Our bulbs, cut flowers and plants are not collected from wild sources, only cultivated stocks are supplied.

Where possible we aim to include 3 different varieties of daffodils in our boxes of 30 and 6 different varieties in our 60 and 100 boxes, although this is seasonally dependant.

Our daffodils are sold in bud without leaves, unless otherwise specified.

Payment and Pricing

For orders placed on line payments will be charged at the time of ordering. When paying by credit or debit card on postal and telephone orders your account will be debited prior to dispatch rather than at point of ordering.

We accept the following methods of payment, online Credit Card/ Debit Card, offline Credit/Debit Card and cheque (drawn on a UK based bank payable in sterling) with details being sent via post, email, fax, or telephone.

If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery.

All prices include VAT where appropriate.

We reserve the right to amend prices where necessary and without notice.

Where a refund is appropriate it will only be made payable to the purchaser of the goods.

We are unable to accept Gift Vouchers online, however we will offer online discounts to customers using their vouchers over the phone on 01872 520209 or by post.

Vouchers and promotional order codes are personal to each individual and any inappropriate use is fraud.

Fentongollan Farm vouchers are valid from one year from the date of issue and are become void once this date has passed.

From time to time you may be offered a promotional code to use against certain products. Please read the terms and conditions carefully as the code will often only apply to certain product and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Promotional codes can only be redeemed online (unless conditions state otherwise).

We reserve the right to cancel promotional codes at any time.

Distance Selling Regulations

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after receipt. Please note that this does not extend to living or perishable products (where products have been dispatched).

An order may be cancelled in writing; by telephone or e-mail within 7 working days after receipt, providing the order has not already been dispatched to the customer or the product is perishable.

Any goods received, which are found to be unsatisfactory, must be reported within seven days for a free replacement in the first instance.

Where nonperishable goods are to be returned you must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession and they must be returned to us, promptly, at your cost.

We can arrange collection of larger items, but you will be charged for this service at cost.

We reserve the right to cancel any order.

Dispatch Information/ P&P

All cut flowers are sent by Royal Mail first class post and we will do our best to meet any preferred dispatch dates unless otherwise specified.

We offer customers the opportunity to upgrade delivery on flowers to special delivery. This is only applicable to deliveries Monday to Saturday. This is a next day service from the date of dispatch requested (excluding Sundays). Should you require same day dispatch please contact us to arrange this by 12 noon.

Bulbs and plants will be delivered as soon as they are ready, please see individual dispatch dates as a guide.

Dispatch dates on summer flowering bulbs and vegetable plants are only a guide and may vary slightly (weather permitting), although we aim to dispatch your order within 2 weeks from the dispatch date given.

All Spring flowering bulbs will be dispatch from mid-September onwards, weather permitting, although we aim to dispatch all advance orders within 2 weeks from this date.

Your order will be dispatched by Fed Ex or standard Royal Mail. We reserve the right to assign the best courier for your delivery.

Orders to countries outside the UK are on request only.

Orders may be collected from our premises, subject to prior arrangement.

For some bulb and plant orders we may have to break your order into two or more shipments depending on planting requirements and availability.

Delivery is charged differently depending on the product. It will be clearly displayed in the basket from the start, the value of which may update depending on the value of goods in your basket. Please see our Delivery Details page for full information.

A replacement (or refund at our discretion) request for undelivered items will only be accepted after a period of 20 working days has elapsed from the date of dispatch.

Fentongollan Farm cannot be held responsible for non delivery of goods where the delivery address given is incorrect, the addressee has moved away or is absent or the adressee has failed to collect or re arrange the delivery of goods by either Royal Mail or our courier.

Where instructions for goods to be left are given, this is done so at the customer/addressee's own risk.

Orders may be collected from our premises, subject to prior arrangement.

Personal Information and Privacy

By entering any personal information on our website you affirm that it is genuine, accurate and current in all respects. You will need to notify us of changes to your personal information by contacting us as soon as possible.

All personal information we collect is treated as confidential. On using this website you may be required to enter some personal details such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information.

We do not share any information gathered with external companies.

We understand the need to make your order and payment details secure, however we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if an external party accesses the data you provide when using our website.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

At times we may use statistical information gained from your visit to help us improve our service and products however, this will of course always remain confidential. We may also use this information to contact you regarding your order and future offers but we will not pass your details on to a third party.
